Privacy Policy
Last updated October 3, 2026
This policy explains what information MoSol LLC (“Tipd,” “we,” “us”) collects through the website at tipdapp.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: we record basic information about each visit to understand how the site is used, we collect what you type into our two forms and use it for the reason you gave it to us, and we never sell any of it.
This policy covers the website only. The Tipd app has its own privacy details, shown in the App Store listing and inside the app.
1. What we collect
We collect two kinds of information:
- Visit information, automatically. Each time you load a page, we record which page it was, when, your IP address, the approximate city, region, and country that IP address points to, your browser and device type, your preferred language, and the page or site that sent you here, including any campaign tags in the link you followed, such as the name of an ad or post.
- The waitlist. Your email address, the date and time you signed up, which form you used, and the campaign tags from the link that brought you to the site, if any.
- The business partner form. Your business name, your name, email address, and, if you choose to add them, a phone number, city, type of business, and any message you write, along with the date and time you sent it, and the campaign tags from the link that brought you to the site, if any.
Like nearly every website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time. This is used to keep the site running and secure.
The website does not use cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics services, and we don't combine visit information with other data to build a profile of you. If you arrive through a link with campaign tags, your browser's local storage keeps those tags for up to 30 days, so a later signup can be credited to that link. It holds nothing else, and you can clear it in your browser settings. We do not collect payment information, and we don't ask for sensitive information such as health or financial details. Please don't include it in the message field.
2. How we use it
- Waitlist emails are used to tell you when Tipd is available. That's the one email we promised. We won't send marketing emails beyond it without your permission.
- Business inquiries are used to contact you about partnering with Tipd, answer your questions, and, if you go ahead, set up your business on Tipd.
- Visit information is used to understand how many people visit, which pages they read, where they come from, and roughly where in the world they are, so we can improve the site and plan where to launch. We look at it in aggregate, not to follow individuals.
- Technical logs are used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website, including stopping spam and abuse.
- We may also use information where required to comply with the law or to protect our rights and users.
3. Legal bases for using your information
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or a place with similar laws, we rely on:
- Your consent for the waitlist. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Steps you asked us to take, and our legitimate interest in responding, for business inquiries.
- Our legitimate interest in understanding and improving our website, for visit information, and in running a secure, working website, for technical logs. You can object to this at any time.
5. How long we keep it
- Waitlist emails until we've sent the launch email, or sooner if you ask us to remove yours.
- Business inquiries for as long as we're talking with you about partnering. If a partnership doesn't go ahead, we delete the inquiry within 24 months. If it does, your details are then covered by your partner agreement.
- Visit information for 12 months. Older visits are deleted automatically.
- Technical logs for a short period set by our hosting provider, typically a few weeks.
6. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, including visit records linked to your IP address, or to take you off the waitlist, at any time. Just reach us at app.tipd@gmail.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to or restrict how we use your information, to receive a copy of it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent. If you are in the EEA or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
California residents: we collect the categories of information described in section 1 for the purposes in section 2. We do not sell or share personal information, as those terms are defined under California law, and we won't treat you differently for exercising your rights.
7. Security and storage
Form submissions are sent over an encrypted connection and stored in a database that the public cannot read. Only authorized members of the Tipd team can view them. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Our service providers are based in the United States, so your information will be stored and processed there. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
8. Children
The website isn't directed to children under 13, or under 16 in the EEA and UK, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
9. Other websites
The site links to Instagram and TikTok. Their own privacy policies apply once you leave tipdapp.com.
10. Changes and contact
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of the page. If a change affects how we use information you've already given us, we'll let you know before it takes effect.
Questions or requests can be sent to app.tipd@gmail.com. See also our Terms of Use.
