Partner Terms
Last updated October 3, 2026
These terms apply to businesses listed on Tipd (“you,” “partner”), run by MoSol LLC (“Tipd,” “we,” “us”). They cover your business page, offers, the business dashboard, and the data we share with you.
You accept these terms when you agree to be listed, when you check the box in the business dashboard, or when you first use the dashboard or publish an offer. Our website Terms of Use and Privacy Policy also apply. If they conflict with this page, this page controls for partners.
The short version: being listed is free during launch, you control your page and your offers, you honor the offers you publish, and you can leave at any time.
2. Your business page
Your page can include your name, category, address, hours, website, description, photos, menu, price range, and offers. We may build the first version from your website and public listings, and we'll share it with you before it goes live.
- You're responsible for keeping your details accurate. You can edit them any time in the dashboard.
- We may format, shorten, or correct your content so it fits the app and stays accurate. We won't change its meaning.
- We never post reviews, claims, or anything else in your name.
- Customer reviews and ratings on Tipd belong to the people who wrote them. We don't remove honest reviews because a partner disagrees with them, but you can report reviews that break our rules.
- We choose how places are ranked, recommended, and shown in the app. Being a partner doesn't guarantee placement.
3. Photos and content you share
You keep ownership of your name, logo, photos, menu, and anything else you give us or that we collect from your website. You give us permission to use that content to show your business on Tipd, in the app and on tipdapp.com, for as long as you're listed.
Marketing is separate. We'll only feature your business in our own promotion, such as social media posts, ads, or App Store screenshots, if you tell us that's okay. You can withdraw that permission any time. We'll stop using your business in new promotion, but we may not be able to pull posts that are already published.
You confirm that you have the rights to the content you give us and that it doesn't break any law or anyone else's rights.
4. Offers
Offers are optional. You choose what you offer, how many coins it costs, when it runs, and any conditions, such as “dine in only” or “one per customer.” Tipd customers claim offers with coins they earn in the app.
- You honor the offers you publish. If a customer shows a valid claimed offer while it's within its terms, you give them what it says.
- You can pause, change, or end an offer any time in the dashboard. Offers customers already claimed stay valid until the expiry shown to them when they claimed it.
- Write your conditions clearly. Conditions that aren't shown in the offer don't apply to it.
- You pay for the goods or services in your offers. Coins have no cash value, and Tipd doesn't pay you for redeemed offers or charge customers for them.
- Your offers must follow the law where you operate, including rules on alcohol, age limits, taxes, and promotions. You're responsible for that.
- We may reject, edit, or remove an offer that's misleading, unlawful, or that customers can't redeem.
5. The business dashboard
The dashboard is where you manage your page and offers and see how Tipd customers engage with your business. That can include views, saves, direction taps, visits, offers claimed, average spend, and estimated revenue from Tipd customers.
- These numbers come only from Tipd users. Visits and spend come from check-ins and from receipts customers scan in the app, so they don't include customers who don't use Tipd or don't scan a receipt.
- We work to make the numbers accurate, but they may be approximate and can be corrected later. They aren't a guarantee of results.
- Keep your login private. You're responsible for what happens under your account, and you should tell us right away if it's misused.
- Dashboard features may change as we improve them.
6. Customer privacy and data
We show you totals, not people. The dashboard reports customer activity in combined, anonymous form. We don't share customers' names, contact details, receipts, or locations with partners unless a customer chooses to share them with you.
- You may use your dashboard data to run and improve your business.
- You won't try to identify individual customers from the data, or sell or share it with others.
- Tipd owns the app, the dashboard, and the combined data they produce. We may use activity on your page, without naming you, to improve Tipd and to report overall trends.
7. Fees
Being a partner is free during launch. If we ever introduce paid plans or fees, we'll email you at least 30 days before they would apply to you. You'll never be charged unless you agree to it, and you can leave instead.
8. Fair play
As a partner, please don't:
- post false or misleading information about your business or offers;
- write, buy, or reward reviews of your own business, or reviews of competitors;
- ask customers for a positive review in exchange for an offer, or treat customers differently based on what they post;
- create fake check-ins, visits, or receipts, or try to game rankings or analytics;
- refuse valid offers, or treat Tipd customers worse than other customers; or
- use Tipd, the dashboard, or its data for anything unlawful.
9. Leaving, pausing, and removal
- You can leave any time. Remove your listing from the dashboard or email us, and we'll take your page down within one business day.
- When you leave, offers that customers already claimed stay valid until their expiry.
- We may pause or remove a listing, an offer, or dashboard access if you break these terms, if customers are being misled or harmed, or if your business has closed. When we can, we'll tell you why first and give you a chance to fix it.
- We may keep records we need for legal, accounting, or safety reasons, and combined data that doesn't identify your business.
10. No guarantees
Tipd is provided “as is” and “as available.” We don't promise any number of views, visits, customers, or sales, and examples on our website are illustrations only. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied. The app may sometimes be unavailable or contain errors.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, MoSol LLC won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from being a partner or using the dashboard. Our total liability for any claim under these terms is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$100.
You're responsible for your products, services, premises, and offers. You agree to cover claims, losses, and reasonable legal costs that others bring against Tipd because of them, your content, or your breach of these terms.
12. General terms
- These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
- You and Tipd are independent businesses. Being listed doesn't make us partners in a legal sense, and it doesn't mean Tipd endorses you or you endorse Tipd.
- If we agree to different terms with you in a signed agreement, that agreement controls where it conflicts with this page.
- If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
13. Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. For important changes, we'll email you at least 30 days before they take effect. If you keep using Tipd after that, you accept the new terms. If you don't agree, you can leave at any time.
